How should I frame the piece?
If it's worth framing, it's worth protecting. Always make sure your framer is using conservation framing materials. Conservation framing employs the use of materials that have been proven to protect and maintain art as close to it's original condition as possible.

Your framer should use only conservation quality mat board and glass with UV protection on your original art. Ultraviolet light rays are one of the most dangerous elements that your artwork can encounter. It will not only cause your colors to fade, but will also cause the materials to break down right in the frame.

Is the Paper or Canvas archival?
Yes, both the paper and canvas are archival. We use the best quality materials to print our editions. The paper and canvas used are acid free, lignin free, and have excellent color retention.

What does 'limited edition' mean?
A limited edition is a series of identical prints, which are limited to a one-time printing of a certain number of pieces. The artist determines the size of the edition, and usually signs and numbers each individual piece.

Why are limited edition prints more expensive than other prints?
The premium price of limited editions is a function of the limited supply of each product, and the exceptionally high quality of these prints. Typically, the more manually intensive the process is, the more each limited edition print will cost.

Are they hand signed?
Yes, all of the prints and originals are hand signed by Todd Lim. Prints on paper are signed in pencil and prints on canvas are signed in Sharpie marker.

What is a Giclee Print?
Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay") is a French word meaning "a spraying of ink.” With the advent of giclée, the art of reproducing fine art has become even more precise. Giclées have the highest apparent resolution available today -- as high as 1,800 dots per inch. In addition, since no screens are used, the prints have a higher apparent resolution than lithographs and a color range that exceeds that of serigraphy. Displaying a full color spectrum, giclée prints capture every nuance of an original and have gained wide acceptance from artists and galleries throughout the world.

How is the artwork shipped?
All prints on paper and canvas are shipped in a heavy duty tube. Your print or canvas will be professionally wrapped and shipped USPS ground unless other shipping methods are requested.
