Charlie Bluett's vivid colorfield works show an intense ethereal beauty, use of space, surface, texture, color and dimensionality. They demand of the viewer a moment of their time, allowing their minds to wander amongst the fine spatial sensibility and color inflection that lies before them.

His works carry bands of rythmic color movement through forms that appear within the canvas surface alongside the subtlest blends of color. Through his creative process he takes us out of ourselves and into a realm of serene peace and calm in which we can all breathe freely for a moment or two.
