Massimiliano Viccardi

Massimiliano is a self-taught Italian artist. He was born & raised

in Northern Italy where he discovered his passion for art at an

early age. Over the years, he slowly developed his own way of

working with his chosen materials and created a unique body of

work that stands on its own in the contemporary art world.

Massimiliano takes his inspiration from the depth and complexity

of human relationships. In particular, he offers us a glimpse into

the wondrous world of the unconscious as it drives our daily

actions.

Each piece that he creates is unique, often taking a period of

months, even years to complete. Massimiliano combines

unusual materials with great attention to shape and color. There

are a multitude of semi-precious stone, resin, glass, pearls and

metal that go into creating each piece. He encases them in

Perspex, which givens them an ethereal air, as if they are floating

in space.
