Kate Micucci

Kate Micucci is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves between drawing, painting, sculpture, performance, and interventions in public space. Known also for her work as an actress, comedian, and musician, Micucci brings a distinct sense of improvisation, curiosity, and emotional immediacy to her visual practice.

Since moving to New York City, Micucci’s work has taken on an increasingly public life. She presented a solo booth at SPRING/BREAK Art Show, where her work received significant attention and press, and has continued her ongoing street-art practice, transforming discarded materials and overlooked corners of the city into unexpected works of art. Her drawings and public interventions have also led to a campaign with Crayola and television coverage of her street-art practice.

In 2026, Micucci published her first children’s book, The Monster and Puppet Show!, created with #1 New York Times bestselling author and illustrator Mo Willems as part of the award-winning Elephant & Piggie Like Reading! series. She subsequently toured the project with Willems, bringing its characters to life through live readings, puppetry, music, and performance.

Micucci has exhibited work in New York and Los Angeles, including a sold-out exhibition in Los Angeles benefiting lung cancer research. City Mouse, Country Mouse is her Samuel Owen Gallery debut, opening November 5, 2026 in Greenwich, CT.
