Midland, Texas
Yarrow shot Spring Break in the Permian Basin around Midland and Odessa, the wall of trucks, tankers and rigs behind America's largest source of oil production. He credits Taylor Sheridan's Landman series with putting a spotlight on the region, and the same golden alchemy that turns a raw resource like oil into glamour, parody and hard-working characters worth photographing. Cody Campbell and his fellow Texas Tech alumni in the Permian Basin, good landmen all, helped make the shoot possible.
