Between Us explores the invisible relationships created when separate paths cross. Sweeping bands of walnut and reconstituted ebony rise, loop, and fold through one another, forming a composition that feels spontaneous while remaining delicately balanced.Each line follows its own trajectory. At moments they come together, appearing almost inseparable; elsewhere they pull apart, leaving open space between them. Those spaces become part of the sculpture, representing the distance that can exist within connection—the things left unsaid, the moments apart, and the room each individual needs to remain themselves.

The continuous curves suggest relationships that are never entirely still. They shift, overlap, loosen, and reconnect as time passes. Rather than forming a perfect or closed shape, the walnut ends remain exposed, allowing each path to feel as though it could continue beyond the sculpture.

Between Us is ultimately about connection without permanence: the idea that two paths do not have to become one in order to profoundly shape each other.
